MOSCOW: Moscow denied as "absurd" claims that Russia was involved in the gunning down of a former Russian lawmaker in Kiev on Thursday after Ukraine called it an act of state terrorism.
"We believe that any insinuations that can already be heard of a so-called Russian connection are absurd," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Russian news agencies, referring to the murder of Denis Voronenkov in Kiev on Thursday.
