ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs, Syed Tariq Fatemi had a meeting on Wednesday in Riyadh with Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Governor Riyadh.
The meeting was held in a most cordial environment reflective of the excellent bilateral ties between the two countries, a message received here from Saudi Arabia said.
The SAPM conveyed the warm greetings and regard of the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to the Saudi King and to Governor Riyadh.
The SAPM also thanked the Governor Riyadh for his warm hospitality and reiterated the strong commitment of the leadership of Pakistan to further enhancement of bilateral relations that so happily exist between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He also extended an invitation to Governor Riyadh to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
The Governor Riyadh expressed his deep satisfaction at the level and strength of bilateral relations and stated that both countries would continue their cooperation in various sectors. He also briefed the SAPM about various developmental projects being undertaken in Riyadh.
