KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49101.04 with a positive change of 80.83 and volume of 65,911,780 shares.
High and Low were 49147.32 and 48961.06 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 164,538,940shares with 339 total traded companies out of which 203 were up, 124 were down and 12 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 26,575,000 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 21,859,300 shares.
The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab. with a volume of 15,692,500 and price per share of 16.95 (0.68), Power Cement Ltd. with a volume 14,576,000 of price per share of 20.77 (0.75), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 9,001,000 of price per share of 14.76 (0.30).
The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 3006.47 (143.16), Service Ind.Ltd with price per share of 1480.00 (39.85) and Millat TractorsXD share of 1248.10 (19.11).
The top three decliners were Indus Dyeing with price per share of 760.00 (40.00), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2095.10 (24.82) and Shield Corp. per share of 610.00 (21.17).
