KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48678.84 with a negative change of 18.81 and volume of 38,937,240 shares.

High and Low were 48888.60 and 48676.68 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 98,754,490 shares with 323 total traded companies out of which 167 were up, 128 were down and 28 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,699,400 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 21,855,700 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill with a volume of 16,004,000 and price per share of 24.25 (0.89), Pak Refinery. with a volume 8,652,000 of price per share of 65.45 (2.73), Dost Steels Ltd.. with a volume 4,159,000 of price per share of 14.33 (0.14).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2857.11 (130.14), Murree BreweryXD. with price per share of 790.00 (34.05) and Ghandhara Ind. share of 910.00 (33.85).

The top three decliners were Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1355.01 (31.29), Thal Ind.Corp... with price per share of 505.00 (23.00) and J.D.W.Sugar. per share of 511.00 (18.80).
