Pakistan bowling All-rounder Sohail Tanvir has become one of the most expensive players in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season 2017, after he was bought by the Guyana Amazon Warriors for $160,000 at the CPL draft.
Sohail Tanvir now sits with Jamaican superstar Chris Gayle, South Africas David Miller, and West Indian Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard.
Pakistan emerging spinner Shadab Khan, who was impressive for his side the Islamabad United, at Pakistan Super League (PSL) was able to find his place in the CPL and was picked by Trinbago Knight Riders for $30,000, way much than PSL man of the series Kamran Akmal who was sold for $15,000 and would represent the St Lucia Stars.

Overall, eight Pakistani cricketers would participate at this seasons CPL. Including former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik, who was the second most expensive player of Pakistan, after he was picked up by the Barbados Tridents for $110,000. Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz, too will represent the Tridents after he was picked for $30,000.

All rounder Imad Wasim and fast bowler Muhammad Sami, were up picked by Jamaica Tallawahs for $90,000, and $70,000, respectively.
Fast bowler Imran Khan was the least expensive of all Pakistani cricketers, after he was picked by Barbados Tridents for $7,500.
