KARACHI: Steady and sustainable development of Sindh is among the top priorities of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, said Governor, Muhammad Zubair during his visit to the residence of Pir Sahab of Pagara here Tuesday.
Talking to leading spiritual figure of Sindh, Pir Sadruddin Shah, also the President of PML (Functional), he said coordinated and concerted efforts are needed for the progress of the province.
Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Development, Pir Sadruddin Shah was also present on the occasion.
Governor of Sindh and senior PML (F) leaders discussed in detail the matters related to ongoing operation against terrorists and also the measures adopted by the government for economic and financial development in the province.
Acknowledging that PML (F) was an important political party and enjoyed significant public support in the province, the Governor said improved law and order situation in Karachi has resulted in improved foreign investment while local industries were also picking up at steady pace.
He said Karachi due to its location and capacities holds quite an attraction for foreign investors and efforts are being made to make optimum of it.
