KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49,387.21 with a negative change of 41.69 and volume of 57,336,740 shares.

High and Low were 49525.48 and 49216.32 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 135,763,930 shares with 321 total traded companies out of which 134 were up, 171 were down and 16 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,016,800 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 15,215,700 shares.

The three top traded companies were Pak Refinery. with a volume of 9,926,500 and price per share of 54.32 (2.58), Lotte Chemical with a volume 9,310,500 of price per share of 11.93 (0.11), Sui North Gas with a volume 8,534,500 of price per share of 132.20 (1.76).

The top three advancers were Millat TractorsXD with price per share 1243.00 (44.31), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2580.00 (36.80) and Shezan Inter. share of 445.00 (20.00).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2940.38 (154.75), Unilever Foods with price per share of 5400.00 (101.67) and J.D.W.Sugar. per share of 520.01 (19.99).
