LAHORE: Cricket fans coming from different parts of the country have praised the Punjab government for organising the mega sports event of PSL final.
Talking to APP at Gaddafi Stadium here on Sunday, Kashif Javed, a resident of Peshawar, said that he appreciated the Punjab government for taking the bold decision of holding the PSL final and making comprehensive arrangements for it.
He said that other provinces should also follow Punjab and host such mega sports events.
He said that he is a supporter of Peshawar Zalmi and hoped that his team would win the final.
Shahid Balouch from Quetta, who arrived here along with his family to witness the final, said that the Punjab government has not only taken lead in development projects but also promoted sports activities.
"Punjab is a trend-setter in not only fast-track completion of development projects but also for promotion of sports activities as well," he said.
Mah Noor and her mother Khurshid Begum, who arrived form Karachi for the PSL final, said that they got online tickets for the match.
"We are satisfied with the arrangements for the final and believe that the authorities concerned have done the best possible for the visitors," they said.
A group of six youngsters from Lahore including Khalid Mahmood, Munawar and Saleem praised the arrangements like shuttle bus service from parking area to the stadium.
They suggested more such mega sports events should be arranged to promote healthy activities.
