MUZAFFARGARH: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed six terrorists while four others managed to escape during a raid near Village Patti Sultan Mahmood Sharqi, Muzaffargarh early morning.
According to official sources on Friday, the CTD, on information, raided at a hideout of terrorist Yaseen alias Imran alongwith his eight to nine accomplices near T-P link canal Muzaffargarh.
The CTD cordoned-off the area on which terrorists opened fire on the team.
The CTD party retaliated in self defence. As a result, six terrorists including Yaseen alias Imran were found dead while other terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of darkness.
The team seized five hand grenades, two riffles, three pistols and explosion material from the hideout. The dead bodies were shifted to the DHQ hospital for autopsy.
