KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Tuesday having 49063.44 points with a positive change of 134.32 and volume of 118,971,700 shares.

High and Low were 49103.59 and 48655.92 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 343,120,970 shares with 394 total traded companies out of which 153 were up 230 were down and 11 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 61,086,800 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 60,938,700 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 34,871,000 and price per share of 9.80 (0.02), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 29,404,500of price per share of 27.24 (1.29), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 16,710,000 of price per share of 55.81 (2.65).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4229.00 (81.17), Ferozsons (Lab)XD with price per share of 567.93 (27.04) and Indus Dyeing share of 587.00 (27.00).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7850.00 (138.33), Colgate PalmoliveXD with price per share of 1900.00 (100.00) and Pak Tobacco share of 1120.60 (58.90).
