Met Office predicts rain in different parts during weekend

The Met Office said that widespread rains in most parts of the country are expected from Friday.

Rain-thunderstorm is predicted in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Snowfall over the hills is also expected.

Met Office further said that there is a risk of landslides and avalanches in areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir because of the rain.
