Loud blast at Charing Cross protest injures many in Lahore

imageThe city of Lahore was rocked by an explosion, at Lahores Mall Road on Monday setting vehicles to fire and injuring scores.

Law enforcement and rescue agencies have reached the spot and have started the rescue operation. Law enforces are trying to find the cause of the blast, whereas, the injured are being shifted to hospitals.

The blast occurred during the nurses protest at Charing Cross.

According to Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah, the blast occurred due to large number of people attending the protest.
