A private TV channel DSNG van was attacked at KDA roundabout by unidentified people, due to which the cable man on duty Taimoor has been killed.
Prime Minister Nawaz sharif strongly condemned an attack on DSNG van of private TV channel, calling it an assault on freedom of speech and expression.
Chief Minister Sindh had directed the arrest of the attackers on the DSNG van of private TV channel.
Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair telephoned Inspector General of Sindh police AD Khawaja, directing him to submit the report into incident at earliest.
IG police Sindh A D Khawaja has formed two teams headed by high police officers for investigations into the attack on the DSNG van of private TV channel.
The two teams will inform about the progress on daily basis. According to police as per the forensic report two different 9mm pistols were used in the attack and none of the two were used any crime before.
