KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49220.91 with a positive change of 463.24 and volume of 89,046,140 shares.

High and Low were 49318.80 and 48757.67 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 160,662,510 shares with 349 total traded companies out of which 259 were up, 83 were down and 7 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 51,655,300 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 18,631,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 7,011,000 and price per share of 9.28 (0.14), Japan Power with a volume 5,715,500 of price per share of 6.40 (0.06), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 5,315,500 of price per share of 23.16 (0.59).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4311.00 (205.00), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7600.00 (99.97) and Colgate Palmolive share of 1800.00 (70.00).

The top three decliners were Ferozsons (Lab) with price per share of 643.92 (33.89), Siemens Pak.XD with price per share of 950.50 (28.07) and Khyber Tobacco per share of 975.00 (24.93).
