RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49122.65 with a positive change of 150.41 and volume of 88,268,110 shares.

High and Low were 49141.20 and 48349.36 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 166,859,100shares with 340 total traded companies out of which 183 were up, 146 were down and 11 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 40,031,400 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 18,580,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd.. with a volume of 24,263,500 and price per share of 10.47 (0.22), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 8,712,500 of price per share of 23.47 (0.30), B.O.Punjab with a volume 8,421,500 of price per share of 16.88 (0.03).

The top three advancers were Millat Tractors with price per share 1087.08 (51.76), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4290.00 (25.37) and Thal Ind.Corp.XD share of 580.00 (25.02).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7450.00 (-350.00), Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 8800.00 (-189.00) and Sanofi-Aventis per share of 2367.00 (-123.67).
