Jamiluddin Aali's first death anniversary observed

KARACHI: The first death anniversary of prominent poet, writer and scholar, Jamiluddin Aali, was observed on Wednesday.

The deceased was also the first Deputy Chair of the Federal University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST). Vice Chancellor of FUUAST, Prof. Dr. Sulaiman D. Muhammad, and Registrar, Muhammad Sarim, laid wreath at the grave of Jamiluddin Aali and offered Fateha.

They were accompanied by Aali's son and president of Anjuman Tarraqi-e-Urdu, Zulqarnain Jamil, Dr. Fatima Hassan.

The VC also lauded the services rendered by late Aali for literature and education.
