Tremors jolt Quetta, Pishin, Mastung

QUETTA: Moderate tremors were felt in the provincial capital Quetta, Pishin, Khanozai, Kuchlak, Saranan, Yaro, Mastung, Hana Orak, Rod Mullazai, Muslim Bagh and adjoining areas, on Monday.

The Meteorological Department sources said that the epic center of earthquake was in Khanozai area in Pishin district, some 65 kilometers off Quetta and its depth was 25 kilometers. The intensity of the earthquake was recorded 3.9 magnitudes at Richter scale.

They said that the tremors were felt at 10:34 a.m. The people came out of their houses in panic, however, no loss of life and property was reported.
