ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of personnel of Frontier Constabulary and police in a firing incident in Quetta.
Sympathizing deeply with the martyrs' families, the Prime Minister prayed to the Almighty to bless the departed souls with eternal peace, said a press release of the PM Office media wing.
The Prime Minister said the law enforcement personnel laid down their lives in the line of noble duty and a great national cause.
He paid rich tributes to the martyrs and said their matchless sacrifices would always be remembered with great respect.
Reiterating his government's strongest resolve to take the war on terror to its logical conclusion, he said such cowardly acts of terrorism could not deter the resolve of the nation.
