Rs25mn released to provide facilities at DHQ hospital

SARGODHA: The provincial government has released Rs 25 million funds to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Teaching Hospital for provision of health facilities.

Chairing hospital's administrative committee meeting, Commissioner Nadeem Mehboob said the health facility was serving patients round-the-clock.

He said that an elevator and 300 chairs with the support of Friends Group were also being provided to the hospital and the ambulance facility at Maula Bakhsh Hospital was being made available round-the-clock.

He said the number of guards had been enhanced to 30.
