Gen Raheel hails Pakistan Army as best in world

imageRAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said that We have ended terrorism and it is needed that the process should be retained and its aim is to provide better and secure Pakistan to generations to come.

Addressing to concluded ceremony of Raad-ul-Barq integrated joint exercises of the armed forces at Tamewali area, the COAS said that Pakistan army is the best army of the world and Raad-ul-Barq exercises proved that we are not heedless to our enemies and our preparedness could not dare anyone to see us with bad eyes.

He said that we have destroyed enemy in operation Zarb-e-Azb adding that now it is needed to retain the process so that success gained in the operation could be strengthened.

Before the ceremony the COAS met soldiers informally, seeing the army chief among them the soldiers chanted passionate sloganeering.

The army chief said that those who rendered sacrifice for defense of the country will not be in vain.

The concluding ceremony of Raad-ul-Barq was attended by Prime Minister Pakistan, National Security advisor Nasir Khan Janjua, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq, Deputy chief of staff of Saudi Arabia Armed forces, and specially high army officials of China.INP
