ISLAMABAD: Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai on Wednesday met with Deputy Chief Executive of Confucius Institute Headquarters of China and discussed matters of educational cooperation.
A plan to establish a Confucius Institute in Balochistan University, Quetta with help of Confucius Institute Headquarters also came under discussion, says a message received here from Beijing.
The Governor, who is on a Goodwill Visit to China from November 14-23, also held a meeting with scholars of China Institute for Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) where current situation of South Asia and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) came under discussion.
Muhammad Khan Achakzai is leading a 20-member delegation mostly tribal elders. In addition to Beijing, the delegation will visit Shanghai and Urumqi as well.
On Tuesday night, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Masood Khalid hosted a dinner in honour of Governor Balochistan.
