LSE sheds 65.87 points
LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange shed 65.87 points on Wednesday as LSE-25 index opened with 3255.38 and closed at 3189.51 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.273 million shares against previous turnover of 2.624 million shares, showing a difference of 1.649 million shares. While, out of the total 111 active scrips 8 moved up, 61 remained equal and 42 shed values.
Bata Pakistan Limited, Mari Gas Company Limited and Nishat Chunian Power Limited were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs39.47, Rs0.50 and Rs0.40 respectively.
Fauji Fertilizer Company, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and MCB Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs9.92, Rs8.99 and Rs8.32 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fatima Fertilizer Company with 1.737 million shares, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 379,900 shares and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 314,895 shares.
