HONG KONG: Foreign assets in Hong Kong's Exchange Fund stood at HK$2,131.7 billion ($274.07 billion) at the end of September, down HK$45.8 billion from the end of August, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority said on Friday.
The Exchange Fund backs the local currency, which has been pegged to the US dollar since 1983.
