ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 38, Onion Rs 28, Tomato 38, Ginger Rs 200, Garlic (China) Rs 260, Garlic Desi 260, Lemon Rs 100, Lady Finger Rs 48, Green Zucchini Rs 56, Pumpkin Rs 55, Brinjal Rs 30, Peas Rs 145, Farsh Bean Rs 56, Tanda Walaiti Rs 72, Cucumber Rs 42, Capsicum Rs 100/70, Green Chilli Rs 38, Cauliflower Rs 80/50, Cabbage Rs 48, Bitter Gourd Rs 55, Spinach Rs 22/16, Radish Rs 35, Turnip Rs 55, Yam Rs 56, Maroo Rs 48, Carrot Rs 95, Chicken Rs 102 and Egg per dozen Rs 102.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Gaja Rs 100/65, Apple Golden Rs 72/50, Apple China Rs 200/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 260/230, Banana Pak Rs 88/50, Pear China Rs 160/135, Grapes 140/120, Guava Rs 75/55, Pear Desi Rs 74/50, Metha Rs 132/80, Peach Rs 100/75, Garma Rs 68/45, Mango Najri Rs 70/55, Mango Nawabpuri Rs 110/80, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 132/85, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 64/45 and Mango Ratool Rs 180/85.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
