ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the following price list of vegetables and fruits, which is applicable in the Capital except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets:
Potato Rs.34, onion Rs.30, tomato 64, ginger Rs.85, garlic Rs.250, Garlic (China) Rs.272, Lemon Rs.78, lady finger 57, green zucchini 35/55, pumpkin Rs.38, brinjal Rs.64, peas Rs.165, farsh bean Rs.75, tanda desi Rs. 80, cucumber Rs.58, capsicum Rs.65/45, green chilli Rs.58, cauliflower Rs.96/70, cabbage Rs.60, bitter gourd Rs.47, spinach Rs.27/18, turnip 48, maroo Rs.65, yam Rs.44, carrot Rs.62, chicken Rs.122, egg per dozen Rs. 98.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: apple kala kulo Rs.150/120, apple white Rs. 110/85, apple china 195/160, banana Pak Rs.95/60, Pear China Rs.165/135, grapes sundari 165/120, grapes gola 95/70, gava 88/55, apricot Swat 140/110, peach 82/60, garma 52/35, mango sundari 92/65, mango langra 62/45, mango chosa white 75/55, mango chosa black 58/45, mango ratool 75/50, mango 55/40, apricot kabli 180/125.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
