ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 34, Onion Rs 27, Tomato 30, Ginger Rs 88, Garlic Rs 185, Garlic (China) Rs 182, Lemon Rs 108, Lady Finger Rs 57, Green Zucchini Rs 45, Pumpkin Rs 52, Brinjal Rs 40, Peas Rs 125, Farsh Bean Rs 86, Tanda Walaiti Rs 62, Tanda Desi Rs 72, Cucumber Rs 32, Capsicum Rs 55/36, Green Chilli Rs 45, Cauliflower Rs 75/40, Cabbage Rs 45, Bitter gourd Rs 43, Spinach Rs 38, Turnip Rs 52, Maroo Rs 54, Yam Rs 60, Carrot Rs 60, Chicken Rs 143 and Egg per dozen Rs 81.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 155/135, Apple Ambri Rs 90/62, Apple White Rs 105/75, Apple China Rs 215/185, Apple New Zealand Rs 272/240, Banana Pak Rs 145/105, Banana Ind Rs 180/150, Pear China Rs 180, Melon Rs 35/25, White Melon Rs 32/25, Watermelon Rs 24/18, Apricot Swat Rs 115/95, Peach Rs 110/80, Garma Rs 65/45, Mango Sundari Rs 122/100, Mango Maldeh Rs 70/50, Mango Almas Rs 55/45, Mango Langra Rs 72/55, Mango Chaunsa Rs 115/95, Mango Dosari Rs 82/62, Mango Ratool Rs 145/110, Mango Desi Rs 62/42 and Apricot Kabli Rs 150/130.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
