ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee Wednesday issued price list of vegetables and fruits for Ramazan/Sasta Bazaars set up at Pakistan Town, Bhara Kahu and Tarlai areas.
According to a spokesman of the market, the rates of vegetables at the Ramazan/Sasta Bazaars of Islamabad are as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 27, Potato Store Rs 23, Onion Rs 30, Tomato Rs 24, Ginger Rs 85, Garlic desi Rs 170, Garlic (China) Rs 170, Lemon desi Rs 115, Lady Finger Rs 28, Pumpkin Rs 32, Brinjal Rs 31, Peas Rs 105, Farsh Bean Rs 75, Tanda Walaiti Rs 65, Tanda desi Rs 62, Cucumber Rs 35, Capsicum Rs 55/40, Green Chilli Rs 45, Cauliflower Rs 72/45, Cabbage Rs 43, Bitter gourd Rs 28, Green Zucchini Rs 44, Spinach Rs 34, Raddish Rs 38, Turnip Rs 45, Maroo Rs 40, Yam Rs 74, Carrot Rs 44, Chicken Rs 129 per kg and Egg per dozen Rs 72.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Sasta Bazaars are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 145/125, Apple White Rs 92/68, Apple Ambri Rs 86/65, Apple China Rs 195/165, Apple New Zealand Rs 245/215, Banana Pak Rs 140/105, Banana Ind Rs 155/135, Pear China Rs 158, Apricot Swat Rs 126/90, Apricot Kabli Rs 170/150, Melon desi Rs 38/28, White Melon Rs 30/20, Water Melon Rs 19/13, Peach Rs 145/125, Mango Sundhari Rs 105/85, Mango Maldeh Rs 75/55, Mango Almas Rs 80/55, Mango langra Rs 65/45, Mango Chonsa White Rs 105/85, Mango Dosari Rs 88/58, Mango Ratool Rs 148/138, Mango Desi Rs 65/45, Plum Rs 175/145 and Garma Rs 75/55.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against shopkeepers.
