KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs 600 to Rs 47,828 per 10 grams in the local market Monday, as its international price improved to $ 1,661 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 700 to Rs 55,800.
Silver closed soared to Rs 942.85 per 10 grams.
