TOKYO: Tokyo stocks fell 2.17 percent on Monday to close at a 30-month low amid worries over the eurozone debt crisis and a slowdown in the global economy.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange fell 186.13 points to 8,374.13, the lowest finish since April 1, 2009.
