BANGKOK: Thailand's benchmark SET stock index dropped more than 4 percent on Friday on concern over the fallout of global economic uncertainties on Asian economies.
At 0455 GMT, the index fell 4.3 percent to 948.14 after touching a seven-month low of 947.86.
The falls were led by a 4 percent drop in heavily capitalised energy stocks and a 3.4 percent fall in banks .
