ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani will leave for Astana, Kazakhstan on a two day official visit from 6-7 September on the invitation of the Kazakh leadership.
Pakistan values its close relations with Kazakhstan.
The Prime Minister’s visit is part of Pakistan’s policy of regional outreach and strengthening relations with all its important neighbours.
The Prime Minister will hold talks with President Nazarbayev Nursultan Abishevich and Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
Pakistan and Kazakhstan belong to the same region. Both have shared interests in peace and stability in the region.
The Prime Minister and the Kazakh leadership will also consider further strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations.
