LSE downs by 93.88 points

imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 93.88 points for third consecutive day of the week, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5486.84 points and closed at 5392.96 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.809 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.565 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.244 million shares.

While, out of the total 60 active scrips, only seven moved up, 13 shed values and 40 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Treet Corporation Limited, Al-Shaheer Corporation Limited and Hascol Petroleum Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Re 0.55, Re 0.53 and Re 0.49 respectively.

Mari Petroleum Company Limited, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited and Pak Elektron Limited lost their per share value by Rs 4.34, Rs 2.82 and Rs 2.23 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included First Capital Equities Limited with 2.536 million shares, Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 969,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 121,500 shares.
