NEW YORK: Google will pay $500 million to settle charges that it sold advertisements to illicit online pharmacies, The New York Times reported Wednesday, citing sources close to the investigation.
Regulators will announce the settlement later on Wednesday, paving the way for the resolution to an investigation that Google disclosed in May, the newspaper reported on its website.
