LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here on Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 373.53 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5936.87 points and closed at 5563.34 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.463 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.890 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.572 million shares.
While, out of the total 80 active scrips, only one moved up, 43 shed values and 36 remained equal.
Lucky Cement Limited, Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs 27.03, Rs 9.31 and Rs 7.05 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included K-Electric Limited with 1.784 million shares, Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 534,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 465,000 shares.
