Canada condemns bomb attack at mosque

ISLAMABAD: Canadian Foreign Minister, John Baird strongly condemned attack at a mosque in Khyber Agency, which killed dozens and wounded scores more.

"On behalf of all Canadians, I extend my deepest sympathies to the victims' families and friends. I wish a swift recovery to the injured" he said in a press release, Canadian embassy issued here on Saturday.

"This type of violent extremism, targeting people in their place of worship during the holy month of Ramazan, is entirely despicable.

"We hope that the perpetrators of this horrendous attack will be brought to justice".

"Canada will continue to work with Pakistan and our allies to help Pakistan address the challenges it faces".
