LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 49.56 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5967.44 points and closed at 5917.88 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 550,015 shares to close against previous turnover of 2.204 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.654 million shares.
While, out of the total 81 active scrips, 11 moved up, 13 shed values and 57 remained equal.
The Major Gainer of the day was Atlas Honda Limited, Ghani Glass Limited and Byco Petroleum Pakistan by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.00, Rs 2.46 and Re 1.00 respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 3.85, Rs 3.00 and Re 0.85 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 177,500 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 87,500 shares and Lotte Chemical Pakistan with 60,000 shares.
