LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 51.78 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6032.94 points and closed at 5981.16 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.807 million shares to close against previous turnover of 4.439 million shares, showing a downward slide of 2.632 million shares. While, out of the total 75 active scrips, 15 moved up, 15 shed values and 45 remained equal.
The Major Gainer of the day was Burshane LPG (Pakistan), Engro Foods Limited and Byco Petroleum Pakistan by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.39, Rs 5.26 and Re 1.00 respectively.
Fauji Fertilizer Company, Fauji Fartilizer Bin Qasim Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.50, Rs 2.77 and Re 0.94 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 352,000 shares, Lotte Chemincal Pakistan with 300,500 shares and Pace Pakistan Limited with 242,000 shares.
