ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday said Pakistan values its cordial relations with Egypt and desires to enhance bilateral cooperation especially in the fields of economy, trade and investment.
The President expressed these views while talking to the outgoing Ambassador of Egypt Magdy Mahmoud Helmy Amer, who paid a farewell call on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President appreciated the contributions of the outgoing ambassador in consolidating and cementing the already existing close bilateral relations between the two countries. He wished the ambassador every success in his future assignments.
Magdy Mahmoud Helmy Amer thanked the President and the government of Pakistan for the support and cooperation he received during his tenure.
