ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Thursday said that the federal government was utilizing all resources for the development of Balochistan.
He was talking to Balochistan's Home Minister Mir Zafarullah Zehri, who called on him. They discussed issues relating to security, issuance of CNICs and passports.
Both the ministers were appreciative of the government's decision to hold dialogue with the annoyed members of different political parties.
Rehman Malik said the government was ready to talk with annoyed parties or their members to ensure better security and development of the province.
He said, "We are political people and want to see the political solution of issues in Balochistan."
Rehman Malik said he would soon visit Quetta to review security situation there.
Mir Zafarullah Zehri lauded efforts of Rehman Malik for ensuring better security in the country.
He thanked the Minister for removing Frontier Constabulary checkposts from border areas of Balochistan.
