LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 57.48 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5493.09 points and closed at 5550.57 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 755,000 shares to close against previous turnover of 884,100 shares, showing a downward slide of 129,100 shares. While, out of the total 85 active scrips 15 moved up, 8 shed values and 62 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Cherat Cement Company Limited and Maple Leaf Cement Factory by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 10.05, Rs 3.56 and Rs 3.10, respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, United Bank Limited and Allied Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs 12.73, Rs 7.22 and Rs 1.50 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 386,500 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 100,000 shares and Pak Elektron Limited with 62,500 shares.
