BRATISLAVA: Slovak inflation is likely to pick up again in August after a drop in July due to a rise in gas, heating and public transport prices, the euro zone country's central bank said on Wednesday.
"Year-on-year inflation may breach the 4 percent level again," the bank said in a statement.
The euro zone country reported a 0.2 percent monthly drop in prices measured by the EU-norm harmonised price index, putting annual inflation at 3.8 percent.
