LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 10.56 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5480.25 points and closed at 5469.69 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 721,900 shares to close against previous turnover of 1.797 million shares, showing a downward move of 1.075 million shares. While, out of the total 81 active scrips, 15 moved up, 14 shed values and 52 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day was Highnoon Laboratories Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Maple Leaf Cement Factory by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 8.05, Rs 2.14 and Rs 1.95 respectively.
Honda Atlas Car (Pak), Engro Foods Limited, Engro Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 8.69, Rs 5.52 and Rs 3.50 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Southern Electric Power with 134,000 shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 111,000 shares and Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 93,500 shares.
