LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 102.64 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5440.93 points and closed at 5338.29 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 457,300 shares to close against previous turnover of 837,800 shares, showing a downward slide of 380,500 shares. While, out of the total 74 active scrips, only 7 moved up, 24 shed values and 43 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Highnoon Laboratories Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 12.01, Rs 8.21 and Rs 6.05, respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited lost their per share value by Rs 10.00, Rs 3.00 and Rs 2.80 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 170,000 shares, Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 127,000 shares and Bank Al-Falah Limited with 38,500 shares.
