LSE gains 57.76 points

imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 57.76 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5872.50 points and closed at 5930.26 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.087 million shares to close against previous turnover of 850,200 shares, showing an upward move of 237,000 shares. While, out of the total 87 active scrips 25 moved up, 6 shed values and 56 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Cyan Limited (Central) by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 10.00, Rs 9.03 and Rs 4.74 respectively.

Pak Elektron Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, and Maple Leaf Cement Factory were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 2.38, Rs 1.40 and Re 0.75 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 503,500 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 115,500 shares, and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited with 105,500 shares.
