LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 9.54 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6097.71 points and closed at 6107.25 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 692,600 shares to close against previous turnover of 1.192 million shares, showing a downward slide of 500,000 shares. While, out of the total 84 active scrips 19 moved up, 10 shed values and 55 remained equal. The top three Major Gainers of the day were Millat Tractors Limited, Cyan Limited (Central) and Nishat Chunian Power Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 9.29, Rs. 4.66 and Rs 2.49 respectively.
National Foods Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs. 9.01, Rs. 4.50 and Rs. 2.53 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 535,500 shares, Sonery Bank Limited with 35,000 shares and Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 20,000 shares.
