ISTANBUL: Turkey's July cash deficit was 2.072 billion lira ($1.19 billion), Treasury data showed on Monday, amounting to a 4.41 billion lira cash deficit in the Jan-July period.
Data also showed the July primary surplus was 1.47bn lira, bringing the first seven months' primary surplus to 18.82 billion lira.
The cash budget measures the money the Treasury actually receives and pays out in the month. The primary balance excludes interest payments.
