PIA Jeddah-bound flight diverted to Karachi

KARACHI : A PIA Jumbo flight was diverted to Karachi from Sialkot on the way to Jeddah here on Saturday evening.

KARACHI: A PIA Jumbo flight was diverted to Karachi from Sialkot on the way to Jeddah here on Saturday evening.

According to a spokesperson of the airline, the flight was diverted to Karachi for safety reasons and to check any possible engineering faults, if any.

He said that around 368 passengers were onboard the flight, which was supposed to land at the Jinnah International Airport at around 7:00 pm.

"We have taken all safety measures in this regard," he added.
