ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange here on Wednesday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 65.11 points and closed at 3988.39 points.
A total of 10,800 shares were traded, which were down by 19,200 shares when it compared with previous day's trading of 30,000 shares.
Out of 146 companies, share prices of 56 companies recorded increase while share prices of 90 companies registered decrease where as one company remained stable in trading.
The share price of Sapphire Fibres increased by Rs. 30.87 per share while the share prices of Engro Corporation decreased by Rs. 13.05 per share.
Lafrage Pakistan Cement, Sui Northern Gas, Honda Atlas Car and Silkbank remained the top trading companies in Wednesday's trading with 5000, 2000, 2000 and 2000 shares respectively.
