ringKUALA LUMPUR: CIMB, Malaysia's second largest lender, has issued 1.5 billion ringgit ($505 million) in subordinated debt, IFR reported on Thursday.

The first CIMB tranche was structured as a 15-year, non-callable for 10-year issue with a final size of 150 million ringgit and priced at 4.70 percent on July 29, IFR, a Thomson Reuters unit, said.

The remainder 1.35 billion ringgit tranche was structured a 10-year, non-callable for five-year issue and priced at 4.15 percent, the publication reported.

IFR said Maybank was considering a 1.5 billion ringgit subordinated debt issue which would be structured as a 10-year, non-callable for five-year issue.

IFR said the pricing of Maybank's subordinated notes, rated AA1 by Malaysian's RAM Ratings, unlikely to waver from CIMB's deals.

Maybank and CIMB were not immediately available for comment.
