TOKYO: Japan will sack three top nuclear energy officials over their handling of the Fukushima crisis and scandals that have fuelled public mistrust in nuclear policy, the government said Thursday.
Banri Kaieda, the minister of economy, trade and industry, confirmed reports that his vice minister and the heads of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy and of the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency would be sacked.
